Deja Vu? Or could it be tradition? *Another fictional story, that happend in the mind of a phsyic patient, that broke into his medic's office, to type this onto a computer,..told be told to is fellow crazies and friends, on ls1tech.
Today, was a pretty good day I guess. Woke up, went to my girls,...relaxed, napped...woke up... poked
,...rested,...relaxed, had a sub, had a caramel apple... put her in the shower....and headed home....around 5ish. I had special woman juice on my shirt(sorry but, it's a valid, funny, and noteable point)(that I raced, with ..sorry ladies,...***** juice on me)(LMFAO) Yup,...I though that was enough but,...to put the icing on the cake,...I ran into a very worthy car, from a status point of view, to have a nice, race with. It would be the second time, that i've come across this near exact type of occurance and the third time I have raced a yellow one.
About 1 mile away from my girls house,..i'm cruising towards a friends house soo, no need to take the highway. Coolant temp, 187. Car was ready to rock.
I pull up to a stop light ,...i'm behind a van, which is right next to a Yellow, spyder,..Lamborghini Gallardo. Dude had a UFC hat on backwards. Top, was down.
Light turns green, he slowly took off, the car in front of me(van), took off just a hair faster,....the car behind the lambo took off really slow,...(get all that),....this allowed me to pull directly behind tha lambo. The gallardo makes a lane change to the right,...by this time, i'm at 30ish mph, i first gear. My car was loud,..the vortech race bypass valve was fluttering and whisssshhhing,...the blower was whistlin'...and it caught the attention of the guy driving the yellow spyder. He see him looking in the mirror...I had a car, right in front of me.... the lambo starts to somewhat aggressivly get on the gas. Hard but, not full throttle,....I change lanes behind the lambo... as I am about to fully make the lane change, he stabs it, passing the car in front of him, and changing over to te middle lane,...where we had about a complete 1/4 mile of a strip in front of us, no traffic in site, no side streets,.....just racing on a straight, towards an overpass,...so it the finishline was to at the crest of the hill. Very rollercoaster fighter jet feel(in my mind)....going up a hill like that.
..where were we...oh yes, he goes WOT, as I make my lane change, then gets over. I was on it maybe a split second after he was, like I was expecting it or something(imagine that)...I had to short shift at about 5500rpm cause the tires where just starting to really wanna blow off. I hit second, quick,...the car is skating but, staying very straight,...slightly a small kickout going up the hill...must have looked crazy for the people behind us.
As I am at the top of second,...i'm a car back, catching him,.. I shift to third gear, quick upshift, powershift. At 5000rpm's,..don't remember speed, didn't look,....in third gear... I was side by side with him, and passing him by what looked like 7-10mph quicker then he was, and climbing. It was like a bungie cord effect the way I slingshotted him. I stayed in it till 6500rpm's,...in third, and went to full quiet,...full brakes. Back to very slow speeds again,...and coming to a stoplight about 100yards away. He pulls alongside. Very cool, very like,..."THAT THING IS CRRRRRAZZZZYY MAN! It sound NUUTTTSS! I was laughing.
"thanks alot man, I appreciate it"... he wanted to know whait it had,...I just told him "stock block, heads, cam, supercharger...suspension and laughing...(pointing to the car),..exhaust"....lol.
He was like man, that things really cool,...very fast and impressive. It was pretty cool of him. I told him very nice car man, with a meanginful acertive look on my face. Gave him a thumbs up, he said thank you,. Very cool lambo owner. We were'nt far from the hardrock hotel and casino...he had on a ufc hat...who knows. Fighter/promotor/fan, whatever.
Not done yet.
At that light,..we just rolled off slowly together,...slowly, normally...but kinda loudly. We get to the next light, which had nothing ahead of us for a while, no lights, no traffic, 3 wide lanes.
At that light, it turned green...he didn't launch at all,..I didn't expect him to. But, he did pull off, a tad aggressive, like he wanted to do it again. I saw him watching in the mirrors.
So, I started to match his speed,..and at my attempt to do so,..he went wot. This time though, I started at his door. Near dead even, maybe I was a fender back.
Boom,,..side by side, no spin for me yet(in 1st)....higher rpm's,..whoops, yup, there it is,..gotta short shift to 2nd gear at 46ish00rpm's...power shifted,..stayed directly on his door, he didn't gain on my shift. WOT in second....spining but, striaight, and pulling hard...I put him on my bumper at the top of second,...maybe half a car, or 3/4's of a car..whatever. BANG third gear(still powershifted).....hit 5800rpm in the car...and shut down.
I was about a bus on him, which it was done. No need to go faster, cause there wasn't anymore smart room to do it. Honestly, it had to of sounded crazy. I couldn't hear this car that much over mine at all. It was really loud.
He pulled alongside,..and gave me a big thumbs up. Said it sounded crazy again. Big thumbs up.
Nodded... and went on my way. He followed for a few miles...went slowly through traffic, single file,...not fast , maybe 40mph. cruising.
He made a left,...I made a right... that was it. Went to a buddies....bullshitted,..chilled...went home, and made some dinner.
Pretty good times. Very happy with the kill. This would be the 4th lamborghini that I have raced ,...third of which I have bect(I got beat in my cobra against a viscious traction(VT) diablo purple anniversery car from a dig once). My last car, which was a cam only white, frc,..ran down from behind at a 30 mphish roll years back...passed him at 175mph. The other two, were YELLOW gallardo's, and this current car beat them both.
It's raining here now,..my womans at work,...so, i'm playing halo,...for the rest of the night.

Beating up on the Lambo's? Very nice, good kill/story. Nice to see a cool Lambo owner. Wonder what was up with the UFC hat.... I dont know of any fighters who own a Lambo. Just some wealthy dude who likes the UFC? heh.

He looked, more like a promotor, manager,...just due to his age. Maybe 40 years old,..maybe..35. Not an "OLD" dude...just possibly old for a fighter.
