and you wanna race the mach 1 from the previous thread?? my gt on the motor runs better in the 1/8 than your car. i have less power and taller gears ( 3:73's) than the mach1. truth be told your car should be faster. next time drop the psi down to 18-20 and give that a shot. your times will drasticly drop if you get that 60 ft down. good luck. fwiw im just stating the facts not trying to be a dink or anything. your 60ft times will come with added seat time.

i have no doubt with traction your car would run better numbers. but spinning isnt winning. last run i made on the motor was a 13.51 @ 100 w/ a 1.9 60ft 8.5xx in the 8th dont remember the mph. my car is an 04 gt with cai, tb+plenum, xpipe, catback, 3:73's and a tune. theres more in her if i can get the 60ft down. i have lt's tubular k member kit with upper and lower control arms and a clutch that i will be putting in soon. over the winter ill do some cams and the car should be in the 12 on the motor and 11's on the sauce with any luck. and fwiw i like to race from a dig.

i got almost 20 hp out of my tune. i know its comparing apples to oranges but id definatly do it. i would drop the pressure in those big time and get a good amount of heat in them. should see a drastic imrpovement. but its all seat time. the more you race the better you will get. the track and the street are two different animals.

If you ran at this track I doubt you would get a much better time than him. Not only is the track a POS anyone that runs at the track knows Nitto tires don't hook for crap on the track. They are GREAT for the street but aren't worth anything on the track. The track isn't kept up, hardly prepped, and you have mostly street car ripping up the rubber at the line. If you run behind a slicks car you can somewhat hook up. I never run at this track for anything more than fun because if I ever try to go for times I just end up getting pissed off.
