Default Whos your money on?

Im having a friendly race with a buddy, and wondering what you guys think the outcome will be. i know anything can happen on the street, but whos your money on?

98 m6 z28
cammed and bolt ons (high 300s)

vs

Turboed gt30 350fwhp

I'm going to say the civic is going to be the faster car from a roll. From a dig u might be able to hold him off. I hate to do but if i had to bet i would put my money on the civic because its so light

hmmm, tough call, a gt35 is a relatively healthy hairdryer for 350 hp & that car weighs ~2600lbs.

You'll probably hold him off if you go from a dig (and have decent tires), from any type of roll, I'd give him the nod by a couple of cars.

Well i think that you will take him from a dig, but your going to have to shut down the race at a certain point. if you go to high in speeds the civic will no doubt catch and pass you going fast. i say get some bfg drag radials and throw a 100 shot of nitrous and run him for 100 dollars. I think you will however, beat him in the 1/4 mile due to his traction issues. First off get a good launch as this is goin to be your best bet to win

thanks,
michael

We are gonna race, i didnt just make this thread to find out if i could win. Just wanted to see some predictions and then post the video. its a good friend of mine, so if anything its more of bragging rights. His engine is built, and well the gt30r can push decent HP, but this is gonna be his daily tune for 100oct which he is gonna drive day to day. His cars weight with driver, before the turbo kit was installed was high 2700s, closer to 2800. So im thinking he is probably in the 2900s. My camaro with me in it should be in the 3500s.

The way i see it, he has power to weight ratio advantage, but i have the better power band. I dont think he will spool fast since the turbo is decently big for his setup. So from dig im confident i will win and wont have a chance to catch up. From a roll Im hoping MY DRIVER mod helps out..

Vids will be posted once we race.

Ya those turbo civics are monsters on the interstate with their gearing and high revving motors. Ill say the same thing as the others from a roll go ahead and throw in the towel. As for a dig, its all about can you hook or not. How you think evos spank F-Bodys alot of times, they whip our *** out the hole and shut it down at 80 when were finally catching up . This is the same concept but for you .
