My first day = Double C6 Death Running on the Pennsylvania Turnpike this weekend on the way home from picking up my TransAm.
My girlfriend and I are crusing about 65 in medium traffic when i see a pair of blue beedie eyes looking at me in the rearview. It's a C6, Red vert, 2 old guys with the top down. He passes me slowly and gets into my lane (Left) after a while traffic clears and I go for the pass, drop it into 4th and go to pass him on the right. When i get to his rear quarter, i'm running about 80 and he's still goin 65. I assume to blow past him like most vette guys (that never get on it) Boy was I WRONG! by the time i'm at 100, i notice he is coming closer, I stay in it to about 130, he blew by me just before i let off and had to do some agressive braking to stay in my lane.
My girlfriend was screaming and so was I! I could not believe how fast the LS2 was.
Old guys go on their way, and about 10 min later, I see the same set of lights in my rearview... "what the?" was that him again?
NO. Another RED C6, vert, this time top up, one driver. We are both in the left lane, he is behind me. traffic opens and I test him. I start to get on it from 60-80, he is still at my bumper, 90-100, he's still RIGHT there, traffic clears totally and he pulls on my right and passes at about 120.
Totally sick.
Cliff notes;
Red C6 vert, top down 2 old guys. I try to pass them, I get pwn3d and almost ram a minivan up the A$$.
Red C6 vert, top up 1 guy. I try to pull away, he pursues and wips me.
The impressive part; Tank 1; runs up to 130, lots of time at WOT, curves, mountians and I cash in 18.9 MPG! Tank 2; a few WOT runs, mostly crusing in 6th, about 80 mph.... 24 MPG... Haha I love my LS1, but LS2 is better.

at least respectable deaths, never raced one of those what do stock auto c6's run. some c6 wanted to race me but while we were lining up the cops came. **** RUN... WE GOT COPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

i have a short race with one but i didnt have all the mods in my sig, it was even for the 100ft we raced started around 55mph. i think my 3.90 gears helps a ton on that race, or what ever race it was

Ran a pretty blue one about a 1 1/2 months ago from 60 mph punch on the freeway pulled him pretty bad twice, he pulled next to me when we hit traffic and the look on his face was priceless

C6s are sick no matter what anyone says, the ls3 is as quick as a C5Z06. I ran a white one a while back and he stayed 1 car back from 60-140, I was impressed. I think a stock C6 is about as fast as your average H/C LS1 f-bod.
