mustang guys step inside
one of my bosses has a 06-07 GT mustang, now the only 2 mods he has done is a crappy exhaust and a stage 1 roush supercharger. now my question is how much are those makin on the 4.6's with no other mods? he's claiming the shop who put it on said he has 475hp now, but when i asked if that's fwhp or rwhp he didn't know. a buddy of mine who's on here, wes he knows who i'm talkin about about and can vouch for this beings that the owner of my company was braggin to him since he saw wes' t/a. thanks for any replies before i go race him

The factory roushcharger (as warrantied by ford and installed as a kit) is ONLY 5psi. They are only good for ~350RWHP (other mods and tune pending of course). The factory 427r is only 427FWHP..and that is with some goodies done to the stg 3 roush. STG 3 roush's are rated @415HP.....IE: roushcharger with 5psi, better exhaust and tune. (I believe they put their own CAI on it as well).
Unless he has some mods he isn't telling you about...he is no where near 475FW or RW.

Seems a bit high if his ONLY mods are roush charger and exhaust...
475 to the fly may be about right... But i doubt hes putting down 475 to the wheels... Hope that helps

Don't get me wrong...Unit is very knowledgeable..that's just not why I said Unit would prefer PMs.
Ironic thing of this....I JUST spoke with someone that put a roushcharger on his S197 and put out 480RWHP...but that was a high CR forged motor with other goodies. He is best friends with the local shop owner. LOL

theres no way in hell a stock 3v with a roush charger and exhaust only is runnin 475 hp i have a 06 mustang and researched every setup, the only roots style blower makin good pwr on the 3v is the kenne bell 2.6, and it takes 10-11 psi for it to reach 475 thats y i went turbo, with a basic roush charger kit( bigger inj, tune etc) and exhaust, id say hes prob around 375 rwhp and with a smaller pulley maybe 400-415 rwhp

The highest PSI I have ever heard of for a roushcharger on a S197 is 7psi. They don't make too small of pulleys for those blowers. Any more than that, and you will need a lower pulley.

I would have a hard time buying that. I am pushing 12-13 PSI, CAI, OR-X, Magnaflow CB, and I am 459 at the wheels on the Mustang Dyno at Evolution, they are stingy by nature.
He would have to have other mods, and definately a great tune.
