Default First Whipple and Drag Radial kill.. A bit long**

Let me start by saying, daylight savings time is great. The sun is up earlier and you can see potentially what's trying drive up your *** on the freeway without playing the " oh HID's is that a M3, nope it's a Scion Tc"...game.
Well this morning very early (6:00), I was headed to get donuts for the guys at work. There is a place just off the 101 in Ventura.

Anyway, my point...

I was MOOB when in my rearview something caught my eye, orange parking lights, not one set but two!

It was a 00-02 WS6 and a 04/05 CTS-V Caddy, they were both moving quick and I barely had time to drop it into 3rd, I rev matched and waited a bit. Much to my delight, they paced me at 60-65 and gave the thumbs up (both guys were in their early 30's I'd say) and the Caddy honked it off...1,...2....3!

My BFG's hook so well, I pooped a little in my pants. The T/A didnt stand a chance he was loud, so he more than likely just had a catback. The Caddy put up a decent fight until the top of third and then they both fell off into little specs in my rearview. I killed it at just over 120 and slowed to a cruising speed of 70 or so, they came up quick gave a quick thumbs up, a wave, and they were off.

Not a bad way to start the morning I'd say. Sorry it was long, but figured it was worth posting.

Nice way to start the day. Thats the common problem with twin screw Cobras, finding cars faster than you.

Nice kill! That's like my dream, two fast cars show up out of nowhere when I'm just cruising and both match my speed, then one of them starts honking. That will probably never happen to you ever again, haha!

Sounds like one hell of a monster you have there, based on those numbers. Just because you pulled that hard on the TA doesn't mean he didn't have more than you think (although he probably wouldn't have been pulled by the CTS-V unless it had some decent mods as well). You just may be underestimating your car.

I only say that because I was with my buddy one time right after his cam install (420rwhp), we were feeling pretty good about it, then we ran into a Cobra with all the bolt-ons and a ported blower putting out low 500s. Needless to say, he walked all over us, and he was making quite a bit less power than you, so it's not out of the question that the TA had some stuff done to it. Just thought I'd share.

I can probably find the vid when I get home if you'd like to see it.
