So, me and qwentin decided to race. he tried imphasizing his "6.0" GTO, so, after the cruise, we had a little fun. the first race, yes, i was stupid, i hit the rev limiter shifting from 2nd to 3rd. still won though..BOTH races.

Both races are from a dead stop to about 120-125ish.

It should have been closer and they arent 400 lbs heavier, more like 250 lbs. Was his car an auto? How many miles does it have on it? Mine didnt really open up until about 15,000 miles.

yes his car is an automatic. i thought it was 400 lbs heavier, my bad. his car has i think a little less than mine, and i have 39k. but i think he has like 20,000 or so. not too sure

I am pretty surprised you pulled that hard too. Oh well run what you brung. Usually a stock LS2 A4 GTO is about 330 or so rwhp. A tune helps a lot as it seems the A4 cars are plagued worse by TM.

Nice races man and sweet hawk.
bone stock 6.0 A4 GTO are not that fast and 300lbs havier than the Hawk also GTO Had a passenger.

yeah, i think i would have pulled much harder that first race had i not hit the rev lim. you can see where for that short second or so he starts to gain when i tapped the rev lim. bad move on my part.. oh well! i was too busy tryin to catch a glimpse of him and didnt notice i was about to shirt. adrenaline is my excuse

a stall and tune would make a big difference on that GTO. nice races either way, and great kills.

Yours must be a strong Hawk. I owned both and my GTO seemed alot stronger than my Hawk. But my hawk was an auto with only 7k miles and the GTO was an M6.

thats why,

My car is fun for the first 60 feet of so, then i just point it where i want it to go. My ex Mach1 felt so much faster bone stock then my car did running low 12's

only the speedo was the give away clue to how fast you are really going.
