Modded S2000 tried it..... On my way over to a friends house to chill, a blacked out modded S2000 came up on me. At first he passed me, then he dropped back. So i get even with him and downshift to 4th (at 70mph) then he goes for it, i downshift to 3rd and punch it, i immediately pull back the car he got, then pulled an easy 5 cars. Right around this point I notice his lights drop and he starts falling back really fast, (he let off). I leave it in the current gear and let it decel just in case he tries a fly-by. To my surprise it never comes. So i kick it in 6th and they pull up and give a thumbs up. Guess they liked my car.
His car looked really nice though, too bad he got denied!

Nope just full exhaust, Diablo tune, P&P TB, Granatelli MAF and SLP flow-pac. (not by my choice). Aside from suspension, those are the only mods to my car.
Never said it was a fully modded S2K. Probably just exhaust & intake, and all show mods. It had full body kit, 18" rims, and blacked out lights. Plus a passenger.

I never said it was full bolt-on/tuned either. Just throwing out another scenario. And your's might not be much past stock, but the stuff you have shows proven gains. So I imagine you'd beat a stock LS1 too. Not that much probably, but still a clear victory.

I wouldn't mind one of those S2k's....nice little rides and not that bad on gas...I actually test drove a SC S2k and it was pretty quick...I'd have to say mid-low 13's with that blower and exhaust....

Fastest stock recorded time for an '04+ S2000 (2.2l) is 13.6 @ 103mph I think... fastest I've seen for an '00-03 (2.0l) is 13.8 @ 101mph. It's just most people can't drive them to their full potential.
