SRT-8 vs SRT-Neon
Yep, sold the Cobra and got my wife an SRT-8. I want to replace the Cobra with a used C6 Z06 when my new job title and raise comes in.
Got an 06 300C SRT-8. Few mods but DAMN is this car fast! We found a modded 05 SRT-neon with 18lbs/exhaust and whatever supporting mods (spoke to him) and we were driving from FL to GA. for Thanksgiving and killed it 3 times from 40-130 by about 4-5 cars and still going when I let off.
Then tonight on the way back home, we found an 05+ Mustang GT and walked that really hard from 60-130, about 8+ cars.
Thought I would share, I gotta change my sig I guess.
Here is a quick pic.

Its my wife's hotrod. I will be searching for a used C6 Z06 to replace the Cobra. I did see them getting into the $58-59K range now!

I don't know about that. The Charger SRT-8 gets just as good if not better times than the 300 SRT-8 on average. I have a LS1 GTO A4 with diablosport, K&N CAI, and TB Bypass. When I raced a Charger SRT-8 at the strip he started pulling pretty good once we got past the 1/8.

Many funny reasons for the SRT cars running all kinds of times, the lazy TCM/ECM's. The fastest stock times are held by 300's and Ported Performance runs only 300's (in the 11's @123-124 no less) and the 300's are the lightest of the Jeep, Charger and 300 SRT variants. If the Jeep would trap 108-110 stock I would have gone that route.

Very nice car and very good runs!
Those 300's can be sick. My brother and I raced on at the track. He had a blower and was running consistent 12.0-12.1 @ 120mph! Very fast cars.

I'm surprised you don't miss the Cobra yet. 99.9 percent of the time, everyone goes into depression the next day after it's sold, lol.
Anyway man, congrats on the new car and nice kill. I'm looking forward to more kill stories from you in the 300.
