He ran right about the same but his 60ft. was around 1.98 and trap speed was around 115. I beat him from a dig 2 times in a row. We went from a 45mph roll and he would walk me every time by about 1- 1 1/2 cars to about 120mph..
He's trapping 5mph more, which explains why he walked you. Trap the same as him and it will be even except from a dig though

Properly set up, an A4 can be just as brutal from a roll. It'll probably take more than a SS3600 to do it though. PT4400 is your best friend when it comes to roll racing!!

Advantage to the M6 though.
My SS3600 seems to be doin alrite in the roll-races I have done so far..

i think m6s leave the line at a lower rpm due to traction ;D i think a well built m6 leaving at same rpm would be a good run

Every time!

The key is the stall and the more power that the 2 cars put down the worse the beating will be for the stick car. The key is getting that stall to flash around 4000-4500. It will be lights out at any roll speed for an equally powered 6 speed.

please explain why a device that, inherently by design, eats more power as it makes its way to the tires (don't good converters have a max efficiency of around 90%?) can pull a car putting more power to the ground in a purely roll racing situation? I could see taking a jump on the hit when it flashes (ie getting into the powerband faster), but after that its just robbing power and I would suspect the 6 speed car would come inching by given enough room.

The only thing I could possibly think is the shift extension holding right in it's power while the M6 moves through it. I don't know how far an M6 drops with each shift though.

I beat on sticks all the time from a roll, even giving them the jump. Really love a 60mph roll. Drops back to second, winds out to 6800 and snaps third.

Can't hurt to try, whats the worst that could happen......you lose?

they only drop 1k rpms.. with an equal powered car the a4 will win..but it would have to be unlocked power.. so basically me with full boltons dynoed 325 rwhp unlocked racing a mildly bolton 6speed....an full bolt on will pull roughly a car on me from a higher roll ..but from 20 or a dig they have to play catchup

Ok. That makes sense. I only dynoed 313 the other day with full bolt-ons . My graphs looked funny though... I still wonder what was up.

My car made 335rwhp (it made 309 stock with exhaust and a lid and ran 13.6 @104mph) with all bolt ons and free mods with a PTC 3500 stall and I had trouble breaking 12.3 run. You just have to find that sweet spot to leave on.. The same night I ran 12.6 @ 108mph, 3 times in a row. Then a friend of mine that has a 95 ss that is fully built for the track ran my car and it went 12.48. I ask him what he did to get it to run faster. I was stalling the car to about 2200rpm and leaving it in drive. He said he was able to stall it up to about 2800rpm and was shifting the car himself.. I tried the same thing and thats when I ran the 12.32 @110.2 mph

I doubt it's still a 3600 stall with your power .
