Well he did pass me, but had we kept going I would have caught him. He said he was doing 179 when he let off. My car as far as I know (bought it used so I dont know what others have run with it) but it trapped 132 taking off easy (to avoid breaking anything) and shifting early. I would say it has mid to high 130 traps in it especially now with a good clutch in it. The 07 R6 I ran, as soon as we hit it (he started at my door) he fell to my rear bumper and once I hit mid 3rd I had maybe 2 cars on him and pulling away. I only took it to mid 4th maybe 120 or so and I had 4-5 cars on him and beginning to pull hard, so I just let off. He knew my car was supercharged when we headed out, but thought he was gonna pull me. When we got back he couldnt believe a car could do that to a bike.

As for the F4i, we were all messing around on the freeway and he was tagging along, a couple TA's were going at it and he followed so I took off and I flew by him pretty hard.

cool man thats a beautiful car btw you should have no prob murdering any 600s. will beat stock 750s and prob suprise some not so good riders on 1000s. wish i was at your pwr level

yea def a nice vette. f4i's are pretty fast really they run 10.75@127 stock. where a gsxr600 is around 10.68@130. katanas are like around 12.5@115. i know lemons12 has raced gsxr600's and tied/edeged them out, but he has an exhaust and they are stock. when i get a built 408 with a 106mm turbo im going to show some busa's what up

maybe a bigger cam would be better to. i know blower cars dont require big cams but a 224/228 should be a good pick. or id imagine going bigger than that would open up the top end but may hurt your 1/4.

Yeah only thing is, the Procharger is loud enough already. When I sit at a light next to a cop, im already worried about that. I dont want a whining car that is loping like an old muscle car Our buddy has a big cam in his Z06 and it sounds pretty crazy. I went through a checkpoint one night and the Highway Patrol had a few questions about my car (lol, being in CA you tend to scare easy when being asked questions you know you shouldnt answer ) But he was cool and liked the car. sorry to bear bad news. but get on any motorcycle forum where people actually know about this stuff and 1. a f4i will not run a 10.75@127 with a reg rider it would take a featherweight pro drag racer. those bikes are actually pretty slow. i have only watched one run and it ran like a high 11 at 118 or something. i beat one pretty badly in my car that traps low 120s multiple times. and a gsxr is around a 10.68 at 130. i love the exact number. yes the new 600s have potential to run 10s but its hard. you hafta know how to get the 60ft down in the 1.6s which usually calls for the bike to at least be strapped and i have never seen a stock 600 trap over 126 and yes im in a bike club and we all go to the track once a month so ive watched ALOT of bikes run.

yea i just got those numbers off a stat forum. thats good that they are slow, better for me. i know those numbers are for pros but just showing f4i arent terribley slow compared to the other 600s, from my experience around here anyway. Wow man love the sound of that vette. thing sure does whistle, sounds bad *** like a jet taking off. my car has no exhaust, open header with a big cam . however im in TN where there is no emissons testing. if i had that blower sound on top of the way it already sounds that would be wicked. i dont think anyone would mess with me, hell they dont now.

i bet your car does sound wickid with a open header but does that not gurt performace, having no back pressure

brian... dude im not trying to start something.. this is pretty much the last thing im going to say.. but you dont know too much about bikes.. i have an 02 f4i w/ two bros... friends have zzrs rrs gsxrs... there isnt one the can pull me... i beat the zzr got beat by 1/2 a bike length by the rr and had a tire on the gsxr.... f4i are not "slow" by any means.. i dont know any 1000s that can hang with 600s on the curves???? why you think they use 600s when racing on tv??? think a little bit here man.. i think you are tied up a little bit in that if it has an "r" at the end its superior... and as far as 1000s and 600s... been next two two 1000s and niether one started pulling till about 120-130ish.. im just letting you know man.. or maybe i just got a rider mod???? what you think thomas?? outta all the bikes ive given you the best run... except decamp before you were h/c/s...

and yes i am on quite a few bike sites.. what do people stunt with???? 600s.. curve with... 600s???? hmmmmm....... and most 1000s are ridden by bigger guys... ie busas.... usually... not always...

go out and do a little racing with your bike/buddies bike.. whoever and then decide on whats fast an not..

look up stock gsxr zzr and rr hp ratings... then look up an f4i rating.. keep all the others stock and throw on about 7-8 hp for two bros exhaust.. hmmmm... rider would depend on who won.. like running a 2000z and a 2000ss....

wow.. i dont even feel like typing all the arguing to go with this but sorry to hurt your feelings that you sport bike is slower than most the other 600s. i can guarentee you i know more about bikes and even though my bike is not a 600, i can outride you in the twistys any day of the week.. most 1000 riders arent as fast in the twistys bacause there usually bigger riders or cant use the power the 1000 has to offer. i have a buddy with a k61000 and if anyone can beat him on a stock 600 on our local mtn i will give them my bike.

as for the go out racing part, in the last 3 months me and the bike club i ride with have gone to the drag strip 4 times, so that where i get alot of my comparisons on how they stack up.

you say 1000 dont pull a 600 till 120 then y do they trap higher in the 1/8. most the stock 600s were trapping between 98-103 and the 1000s were trappin 110+ that shows there pulling down lower.

heres some stats with the same pro racer on the same day testing both bikes. argue with the facts. check out the weight, pwr to weight a trap speeds and then say a f4i is as fast

2006 f4i
155mph top speed
1/4 11.3 @121
pwr to weight ratio 1:4.88
w. weight 440lbs

2006 cbr 600rr
168 top speed
1/4 10.7 @134
pwr/weight 1:3.73
W. weight 398 lbs

if that doesnt get my point across oh well this is ls1 tech. n im not gonna argue about it on here. go to gsxr.com and tell everone there that your f4i outruns gsxr 600s and you will get alot worse.

I'll just say this if an F4i stayed next to my R1 even from a slow roll I would sell it the next day. Im not trying to be an ***, but the F4i is not in the same league as 1K's (not newer ones)

and im not talking abpout modded bikes.. im talking stock 05-06 600s.. and my f4i w/ twos bros exhaust.. i dont care what paper says.. we race all the time and not once has anyone of us pullled the other.. zzr gsxr and rr.. rr usually has a little bit on us.. you cant tell me im wrong cause im on the bike when it happens.. and they are all friends so i know they are going all out.. your pretty much an idiot if you think that an f4i is dogshit compared to other 600s.. IT DEPENDS ON THE RIDER WITH STOCK BIKES... like i said 10 posts ago.... Lol, that's because anything can happen on the street. We have a 929 but I dont know for how much longer, its my wife's bike, but it's not very comfortable. I never ride it, id like to get her another R1 or a ZX10 unless I gould get a Repsol at a decent price (she loves those) But Ive seen smaller bikes beat bigger bikes, just like cars with less hp beat cars with more.

no reason to be s ******* smartass. and your right it is all in the rider. and if you friends cant ride for **** then yes im sure you could stick with them. i was just pointing out that bike potential with the same rider that the other gsxr,cbr,r6 all out power the f4i. dont get butt hurt because of it. and when did i ever say i was a master at riding... just said i cold out ride you! and never said all the guys i ride with on 1000s are faster than all 600s. i only mentioned one of them .

Yea, I don't think a 600 will be any where near a 1000 at 120 mph. My buddies 07 GSXR 600 with a two brothers is not even close to my 07 R1 at 120 and yea he can ride, even better then me. But don't get me wrong those little suckers do move.
