Default Well got the 408 out

Got my first real race with my 408 swapped nissan.

97 LT1 SS Camaro
Mods
Ported Intake
BBK TB
Ported stock heads
355 forged bottom end
Comp cam
LT Headers
175 wet shot
ET Streets

330 on motor is what I was told. Best 1/8th mile time 7.0 @ 99.5

We raced three times from rolls since I was on street tires with wires showing. Im going to go back with my DR on and dig race with him.

First race I was in third @ 2500 rpms. I think he dropped to 2nd cause as soon as we left he jumped 2 cars and it stayed about there the rest of the time.

Second race we started at a little faster speed and both in third. If i start in second Im all over the road. 4K in third start this time. I jumped out about a car or so then pulled a bit more before we shut down in 4th.

Third race I dont know if he was sleeping or could hear the honk but he was a bit late to hit it. I pulled a bit futher this race.

Very fast car. Hoping he will post the videos up soon.

Cant wait to put my NX kit on and my DR.

well i bet the "sleeper" image of that 240 disappears once the car starts i can't imagine a 408 being anywhere close to quiet with LTs. but yeah that is definately a nasty setup you have. have you had it on a dyno yet?

If you got the money Id be more than happy to.

And yea the sleeper image goes away once the car is running. You cant hide the cam.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...3b0148bec8.htm

Also the car is on a super safe tune, actually not even really a tune just a fuel map that we havnt touched.

A/F are in the 11.2 at the highest point in the rpms and no timing added to the stock map as of yet. Car made 410 whp/414 wtq
