A few weeks ago I was hanging at the local spot, and a Red LT1z28 and a V6 Firebvird pull up revving at me. I walked ove to them and talked for awhile. It turned out that the firebird was waiting on a v6 mustang to show up and race him. Well go out to one of the plant roads and they line up. The guy driving the Z28 tells me that the Firebird has an engine swap.

Firebird won by 5 lengths.
(not that exciting of a race lol)

Me and the Z28 line up he honks off and we go. It was well below freezing so i spin like a ****. Hit 2nd spin somemore. mid way through 2nd he has about 1/2 of a car on me. I get third and pull by him and let off around 105 with 3 or so lengths on him.

His friend with the firebir pulls up next to me and says"lets race". i just laughed and went on home.

I am not really sure of the engine swap. I actually did not see it myself.

Z mods- exhaust
me- exhaust

I wish i could get some better runs , but where i live you got cars like the Z28 and on the othe hand you have cars like RedhatRdRacer, and seveal stangs with turbos and superchargers. I lurk around picking off the stragglers.

i wouldnt laugh a guy around here has a cammed long tube v6 car and it has ran as fast or faster than alot of stockish ls1 cars....

Well I did. Him and the guy with the z28 are friends. The z28 would beat the firebird bad eveytime they raced. So
I beat Z28.....Z28 beats firebird......I beat firebird..thanks
