Default Mustang GT vs my 2000 Trans am

A friend of mine wanted to run my trans am today on the way to my buddy's shop. We always go back and forth about ls1 vs mustangs. we went from a 35 roll...

his car:
1999 Mustang GT
Lt headers, H pipe, catback, 4.10 gears, tuner, 75mm throttle body, intake plenum, CAI

Runs low 13's at 103-104 ish

My car: 2000 Trans am M6, cam, full exhaust (lt's ory borla) FAST 90/90 3.73's

After all the sh*t talk this is what happened

It's funny to me when people list a throttle body as a mod...kind of
like saying a K&N air filter is a mod.

Way to smoke his ***.

Wow, didn't have to watch the vid to know what the outcome of that was going to be.........but watched it for a laugh anyways.

I put down about 400rwhp and got a run in with a 2000ish full bolt-on GT one time. Similar outcome, plus he had his girl in the car, haha. It was all in good fun, though.

Yeah.......except that some people have picked up horsepower on the dyno before and after a K&N filter with nothing else swapped on the same day, same dyno, same everything. Granted, it may have only been a few horsepower, but if it adds even a couple horsepower, I don't know what else you would call it besides a "mod".

Gaining or losing 2rwhp on back-to-back dyno pulls is very common.
I could put a red bow in my engine bay and make another 2hp. Should
I list that in my sig as a mod?

Come on now, a high flow air filter is a mod. It's an improvement over stock!

I'm not sure if everything is always worth mentioning for racing, but I keep track of all my mods down to removing the spare tire and jack just for personal reference.
