Couldn't hear the g35 over it. Pretty sure the g35 was an auto though. I didn't see the whole race because they left my field of view but I would like to think the g35 started putting some distance on it. At least I hope so.

We've been seeing a lot of unwarranted personal attacks by ethugs who have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives than to register on multiple automotive sites and harass members.

After the past day or so, I have already banned or deleted 2 new members and am looking to do a couple more.

Using profanity to make personal attacks against members and challenging them to races is an automatic ban from this site. We have no room for immaturity and would like to think of this site as one for mature adults who share the same enthusiasm for all things automotive and Z related.

When you do race them, they will go to their z forums and talk about how they were pulling up top, and you quit before they could pass. And I am sure if you beat em by 5 car lengths, they would claim half a car length.

Sorry to see things got way out of control. There are odd apples in every group, sorry there was this much fuss over one of ours.

The Z is what the Z is and the LS1 is what it is. I have had a lot of different vehicles and been part of a lot of different forums. Four bangers, V6s, V8s, Straight sixes, turbos, roots blowers, centrifugal blowers, spray, you name it. Currently my butt sits in a Z and it is hard to beat it for the money, but it does not come with an LS1 (at least not stock).

Little know fact there are a couple of LSx swaps in 350Zs already been done.

Lets just let it go and get back to the best part of our rides, driving them.

It is hard to keep one together with FI or spray. The VQ is an open deck aluminum block, which with enough money will somewhat stay togehter, but it is not really drivable. The 350Z was built to be a mid powered NA car, all you have to do is look at the gearing in the tranny and final drive.

The fools are the ones that try to get 600+ WHP out of these cars, it is just impractical and unreliable.

350Z owners should stick to old mustang GT's and LT1 cars for races. Now that I think about it, would a healthy stock m6 LT1 Z28 or T/A own a 350?

Baaaahahaha heeeeeeeeeeellll no. M6 LT1's pwn the crap outta 350Z's. I must have beaten about 10-12 (there were quite a few butt-hurt middle aged men) on the streets when mine was stock.

Hell I've beaten them in my daily driver and it's slow.

An LT1 Z28 is faster then a stock 300zx TT. A stock 300zx TT is faster then a 2003 350z.
Im a previous owner of a 350z and I can tell you from experience that a stock Formula is faster then a 350z.

no its not. depending on year, if we are talking the newest one out the nismo edition can hang with if not take a ws6... stock 6 are slow as ****..

so since you guys are putting up the best trans am, the ws6, the power house of ta's correct? and throwing this against any old base model z? well lets compare top of the line ta vs top of the line 350z...

the 3.5-liter V6 350 hp, with torque hitting 268 lb-ft. in the new nismo z.... so less cubic inches and the same power output of a 5.7? now isnt that impressive or no? they made the same power with less cubes. the new z isnt exactly a bitch and an unsuspecting ws6 could get a good match with one worth it... dont pick on base models and if you do compare them to other base models.

i hate when people judge my 06 gto when they killed an 04 with an ancient ls1

i wouldnt put it past an 07 and up 350z to beat a stock F-body, dont sleep on the HR motor, they are trapping 107mph+ bone stock...
