drivers race. just gonna assume that your new to ur car since youre asking this question so i would play devils advocate and say the gto. driver mod is key...you could have 500rwhp and still not know how to drive...

the trans am normally post up better speeds then the LS1 gto but stats and time mean nothing when you get out there if you dont know how to shift. so GO it will be fun win or lose make a video if you can see we can see it

Enough LS1 goats have seen low to mid 13s to not rule it completely out...if we are talking a great driver in each I would put the money on the T/A..but I've seen enough F-bodys pull crap 1/4 times stock to avoid giving the T/A an easy win here.

My dad's bone stock 2004 GTO M6 ran a best of 13.7 @ 104 at Lebanon Valley, I believe (a mediocre track at best). Just thought I'd add some fuel to your bench racing thread.

That said, my money would be on the T/A if I had to bet.
