Default Video: Z28 vs. SRT*4

Z28: full exhaust, bald 245s, a4, 2.73s

SRT*4: not really sure on his mods, he won't tell me...i know he has: air intake, ported intake?, header, meth injection, 2-step, new traction control system, bout 20psi? has a huge aftermarket intercooler...he has lots of new mods coming too. so i probably won't be able to beat him anymore

we went for a dig just to see what his new traction control system could do....just by watching the videos...you can see what i did wrong

A4 with no traction..punched it off the line on the first run....spun so bad it shifted into 2nd early and then when it caught it shifted back down into first....

2nd run was like 1/3 throttle off the line

Was he at least running drag radials? No sense in using the 2 step on street tires. And he needs to learn how to shift...

And not all 2 steps sound like that, my current one is quiet enough that you can plainly hear the turbo spooling up (Gotta luv a 3500rpm stall and a 3400 rpm 2-step).

That's right I forgot. Originally read this thread yesterday.

What traction control is he using?

I have the ability to use TC with the AEM, but I haven't even gotten to the point of playing with that yet. Right now my car will light them up @ 1/2 throttle in 1st gear; hopefully I can use the VSS based boost control and TC to manage the power output and actually see some traction on street tires.

when he's using nitrous he looses traction in 3rd cuz thats when he starts the spray..i know he did a lot better than the last time we raced...i don't know much about his car but the tc system cuts the timing to the engine
