Re: 281(4.6) or 302(5.0) Cobras
While I am more of a fan of the pushrod engine Cobras (93-95), the 4.6 versions (96-present) are quite a bit faster. I still wish Ford would've kept using the 302 since they were easier and cheaper to modify.

Re: 281(4.6) or 302(5.0) Cobras
Out of the box, the later Cobra's, but then who leaves 'em stock? 5.0's are cheap to mod. I ran into a guy the other day who had a plain white LX notch, lightly tinted windows - aside from the fact he had a rollbar and massive rear tires, the twin turbo's were almost silent - talk about stealthy!

5.0s = fun. 4.6s arent too bad if you have the patience and the cash but 5.0s have parts floating around everywhere. Plus they are extremely cheap to buy and work on. I would heavily research making them fast before buying one though because keeping either stock would be a total waste.
