Well the other day im driving home down the freeway from work when i see a bright yellow little car coming up behind me. as i slow down a little to see what it was they changed lanes to get beside me,its a gsr integra. we are doing about 60 and i look over and they smile at me and are laughing at me. so i say whats so funny?
he says you car heavy v8 and slow:eyes:.and i went into 3rd and said take off hotshot:devil: so he hits it then i do the same remind you im in 3rd at about 50 i just kinda pedal it for a sec and keep kinda even with them while there given it all its got, then i lay on it:burn: :drive: hold it till top of 4th and hes about 25 -30 cars back! he exited before he came past me. haha not much of a race but really funny.

Lol, i have had kids with v-tec cars tell me they will pull em top end atleast 20times because 1 they have v-tec and 2- they are lighter. I dont know where these kids get there racing education from but they need lessons like the one you taught that kid. Good Job

Wow... there are getting to be too many retards in this world. I keep getting more and more evidence to back up my theory that people are getting less intelligent as time passes (watch the movie "Idiocracy"). I had a GS-R, and it ran a BEST time of 14.97, and a BEST trap speed of 93.98mph. That's not gonna be anywhere close to even the worst driver in an LS1 car. It was fun picking on 94-98 Mustang GTs and V6 F-bodies, but that was about the extent of it. Way to put him in his place :thumb:

A 5.0 is faster than that bone stock...

If I remember correctly they ran 14.5-14.9 in tests by magazines back them. I know magazines aren't the best info but an average guy in a 5.0 Stang that sounds close. Put a good driver and the times would likely improve by as much as 3 or 4 tenths but still they are mid 14's. The 4.6 was after 96 (I think) and they weren't much better if at all.

The vast majority of the 94-98 Mustang GTs were ~180rwhp "monsters" with 3.08 gearing. I only raced one from a stop one time ('95 GT 5spd, and I had a passenger), and beat him by 2 cars up to 90mph. The others were from various 50-60mph rolls. And considering most SN95 GTs trap 90-93mph, it shouldn't be surprising that I beat them. Never "stomped" any, but never lost to one either ;)

The best i saw out of a fox body stock, was a 14.34, thats the best i have see nwith my eyes, now i have heard of 1 goin a 14.09 with the timing advanced and some plastic removed from the intake

i had a buddy get a best of 14.8 with his 94 GT... he wasnt the driver, either... he had minor bolt on's. with him driving he couldnt break out of the 15's.

Yep :nod:. Now of course there were exceptions like the '95 GTS (GT w/ V6 equipment for lighter weight), the 96-98 248a cars (renamed GTS), and the '98 GT I had... mine was one of the few late-year 5spd cars that came with 3.27s instead of 3.08s. But as a rule, they are low 15s cars.

The 94+GTs were soo damn ugly, i personally think they are the ugliest body style of stang, excpet for maybe the early 80s and soem of the late 70s were pretty damn ugly too. In my opinion the early 70s mach 1s were the last good looking ones before the 99+ body styles. Which is why i dont like stangs, 30 years of ugly lol

IMHO the 94-98 Cobras are the best looking modern Mustangs... 2" drop+ 18" Saleens + full exhaust = :drool:. I actually HATED the '99s when they came out because I thought they ruined the car. It obviously grew on me, but I'd still love an SN95 Cobra.

The 03/04 cobras a the best looking ,mustang ford made after the 71 mach 1s
