And if you can't run better than 13.8 in an LS1 F-body, you either have a 2.73-geared A4 convertible, the track conditions suck, or you're the worst driver ever.

Lol high 14 second truck, i have seen tundras with just exhaust run high 13s. And the reason they would take him off the line is over 400ftlbs of trq and they are a truck and come with 4.11 rear end gears. If you go to tundra forums there are tons of people running 14.1s 14.2s in stock tundras
Maybe he should stop power kicking LOL
Who cares anyway, my jeep was running a 14.9 stock. It isn't anymore but it's still a damn truck.

I agree. they guy I raced in a tundra used to go the same way to work as me every morning and I used to have a 02 firebird a4, and he would always blow past me with a smirk. Until.. I traded it for the 02 t/a then one day he tried and for some reason got his *** kicked. Both cars were black so he probably didn't realize they were two different cars.

Do you even have an f-body? Do you have any clue as to what your talking about? The only way a f-body is going to have trouble running a 13.8 is if the driver is absolutley helpless. Which is obviously this guys case with his idiotic power kick **** but nonetheless any stock f-body runs faster than that.

Lol my other name was 2000t/A Guru, it was recently ban, and no i dotn have one anymore, i had a 2000 Trans am that went a 12.78 at 110mph with headers, lid and catback. so i know what f-bodys can do. And i had an 11 second supra, i have been to the track many times and all i was saying is some f-bodys have gone high 13s stock, maybe the car was a little off maybe the driver was bad i dont know but thats what they did.
Also who reallys gives a **** if i get on your nerves, your some guy that i only know by an internet name, what you think, feel, or know doesnt weigh on my mind at all

i drive those tundras all day at my toyota dealer... they have SERIOUS traction problems lol
if you punch it with the traction control on, the thing falls on its damn face. and the traction light (its a little light that looks like a car doing a burnout), flashes like crazy and it cuts the throttle, hard lol
now if u turn the traction control off... the bitch spins forever. I just get the truck to about 5-10mph then get into it 100%. otherwise, its spin city lol

I witnessed this in person one day... me and a friend were leaving Hooter's and they were having a car show, and a pretty tastefully-done Tundra with intake/exhaust was pulling onto the service road. He went WOT making the turn, and completely whitesmoked the tires for atleast 100ft. Complete smoke show. Pretty wicked, actually
I saw a new one pulling out of a local performance shop (probably intake and exhaust) and turned out of it filling the street with smoke and did that for a good ways down. People literally had to slow down in order to see the light to keep from running it and hitting another car

well i do know that its the single cab that runs that, which makes sense whena single cab weighs about 4300 lbs, so with 381 hp and 6-auto and 4.30 gears makes for good times at the track don't you think. my father posted a 14.7 at the track in his bone stock GMC DENALI truck (crew cab), thats 403hp 6-auto w/3.42. i would love to see that same combo in a single cab silverado to see what it would do.
