Well lets just say I couldnt hook, but damn those think launch like a bat out of hell! So this morning I was on my way in to work to finish up some stuff whatever. Sippin on my coffee pull up to a red light. This kid like 20 at most, comes out of no where, had to of seen me and wanted to race. He looks over, I smile. Light turns red, I feather out of first, get on it hard, pretty much dumped into second, *** end goes out, damn! Feather it back, shift into third, there was no way I was going to catch up to him. We were accelling at the same rate after I finally got traction at like 45. I shut down at 85. So just my luck, light 2! We talk a bit, I wanted a stab at a roll (my kumho's hook for **** and their about down to the tread marker and it was only 50 degrees out. So it turns green, and the kid just punches it, dumb little **** must thought a roll was a race or somethin. So anyways I get on it and hook better , still not good, god I cant wait for my g force KDW NT's! Sure as **** after I am back down to speed theres a cop posted on the side of the road. Let's just say it was not a good area to race HWY 7 in minnetonka if anyone's familiar. I thought o **** i hope nobody called us in!
All in all it was fun.

Nice run, hopefully you'll get your chance from a roll sometime. I haven't gotten the opportunity yet either. 1.8 60fts is on a bad day for those things.

hopefully I will get a roll chance sometimes, now i wish I wouldve ordered DR's, damn! but this is the first time i have ever raced on the street. I dont really want to drop another $550 in 10K if ya know what I mean.

You have to be running some serious power to make up the margin you'll lose off the line to a JGC... Even then, you aint catchin them till at least 80.

I've had soooo many races like that at the track. Takes a bunch of power to drive around the Jeep. Sure I lose plenty at the track, but I get more compliments than most 12 second cars ever get.
