Default Who do you think won?

So I raced a 07 Gt mustang with a procharger runnin 7psi last night. He was also an auto.

First round from a roll at 15mph I whooped him till 80 then we both had to let off . I beat him by a car length.

Second race from a roll at 15 I had him by a half car length till 110, then he just walked me when i went into fourth.

Both races I wasn't spraying- can't say i'm impressed with his car but who do you think won. Even though he walked me in fourth I would have beat him in the quarter.

Tie.
With your respective mods, you might not have beat him in the 1/4. Your car should be trapping around 115 and his around the same, and if he walked you like you said he did in 4th he could have made up some distance after you shifted.

It is considerably cheaper and more efficient to throw FI on a Mustang (96+) rather than do a whole lot of internal work like you OHV bastards can do.

That's not saying much really...7psi on a 281cid engine. A cam only
LS1 should rape that car. Back to the drawing board...

Are you still on the LS1 intake?

Something just seems off to me. I'd think a cam only m6 LS1 would beat an auto 3v GT w/ 7psi on a roll.

What makes you think that? Both cars trap around the same with the slight edge to the LS1

Dang there is a charged 05 running around here on low boost 6lbs. I have been waiting for some mods to finish up with before I ran him. Probably going to throw a 100 shot on there for exactly this sort of thing. For some reason I thought 3vs on boost would be alot faster than that (not that your car is slow you would kick my slow car's ***)

Nice runs. Spray him next time so he doesn't get too cocky.

A 3v with 6lbs of boost can hit a high 11.

So it would probably average 12.4 or so on street tires correct?

I figure I'm knocking on 12s so a hundred shot should make it interesting.

Most I have seen on street tires and no suspension mods have gone 12.2-12.4.

Nice races! What did your car dyno and on what type of dyno?

Also keep in mind, guys, that just because he's cammed doesn't mean he's running what most NA cammed cars are running; he's got nitrous on the thing, which means his tune is probably for nitrous and is hurting his NA power a little bit (or not, but it's likely). Just something to think about.

My car is a m6. It is NOT tuned for nitrous and never been dynoed. According to procharger site that mustang should be making at least 430 rwhp. Here's something to put in your pipe and smoke. I'm at 5280 ft above sea level so havin any boost up here is at your advantage.
So I think my 70k cam only car kicks *** and I will find that guy again and film it, of course I'll be sprayin. Not lettin him get by me again.....
