1st race in the ws6
So after about 2 weeks of owning the ws6 i finally got my first race. It was an Eagle Talon TSI(AWD TURBO) he wanted a 45-50 roll which was fine for me because i cant hook from 1st right now...So i honked it off 1...2...3...
I instantly jump a car and just it never stops from 45-105 i was atleast 4-5 cars ahead....Idk what mods but it wasnt stock(loud BOV and exhaust) not that that means anything....
Also before the race i called my friend and asked him about the car and not suprisingly he knew who it was he said it was stout for a TSI, guess it wasnt stout enough...After the race the guy was really nice and gave props to my car for being so fast
Cliff Notes:
98 m6 ws6 with blowmaster CB and mti lid beats bolt on stock turbo Eagle Talon TSI by 5 cars...

His advantage is off the line. AWD dsms can do amazing 60fts on street tires with some power and good clutch. They are only low 15 high 14 second cars stock. No match for an ls1. Talking bone stock boost at stock boost level. Up the boost on stock turbos and you get low 14s range maybe mid to high 13s with the bigger 91 to 94 turbos.. Match for lt1 again not most ls1s. To really give ls1 a good race would need upgraded turbo to at least an evo big 16 which can do 350 to 400 engine hp with a few support mods, bit bigger injectors, fuel pump, some tuning, race gas to hit the 400 mark. Seen one of these do high 11s at our local track at near 120mph. 350 engine hp should give a decent run to a stock ls1. Cars are fairly light.AWD weigh around 3100 and change. FWD are like three hundred pounds lighter but have traction problems bad on normal street tires. My 97 will easily knock off 1.7 60fts on firestone fuzions. And could hit 1.5s I bet if used my antilag and the track was prepped good.
So with stock turbo boosted up a bit and the 91 to 94 cars came with bigger turbo than the 95 to 99 cars , he could potentiallly have put serveral car lengths on you off the line and you would have run him down in the quarter and should have still easily won by good margin unless you spun horribly off the line.
And I know a few things about dsms see my sig. Besides my two talons I currently have two laser fwd turbo 5 speeds.
