The JDM VG30DETT was actually lower hp than the USDM Z32 VG30DETT. They had slightly smaller turbos, along with a few other small differences. Its always hard to tell how much you are getting BS'ed though on a turbo car, theres no telling what he had done. They are heavy cars, but can easily be made a serious contender

ya, there is some rivalry between the Z32 and Z31 communties. The z32's tend as a group (with many exceptions) to look down on the z31's. The reasons are varied, from getting the same treatment from the z33, to mistaking a z31 enthusiast for the run of the mill driver with the typical craptastic z31. So those of us who prefer the z31 can get **** about the details.
