CTS V vs SRT8 i was at a family gathering wifes family and her cousin was there with his new 300 srt8 and man the **** talking. telling me how fast his car was i said let's find out i bet the v win's and he was like no way that old man car. so we went and raced a couple of times i was out front on both runs by about 2 to 2 1/2 cars at 120 ish. lots of fun putting him in his place.

Nice kill. That's a pretty good beating and if anything, HE has the old man car. What a doofus. What were his excuses? Don't bother telling him about the Diablo - he doesn't represent SRT-8s very well - or know either car.

yea they made a great car a lot better. they did some testing at the ring and the v made it around in 7:59 beating the m5 by about 15 seconds a lap and got the fastest production sedan ever at the ring. bob lutz said it would blow the doors off an m5 and he did not lie.

Pretty heavy car too but pretty awesome. I'll be curious to see actual 1/4 mile times/trap speeds vs. the lighter M5 and E63.
Nissan seems to be playing games at the 'Ring with "Ringers" (pun intended) as well.
