Dont ricers ever learn aight listen to this me and my buddy are in his jeep(5.2 with flows sounds mean) and we are crusin down 29 and see this lil pos honduh. so we're like yes! jap. tonight 
anyway he pulls up beside us so we throw him a rev the loser hits the limiter fer like 10 secs...funny thang is he had his lil 10yr old "punk" bro with him lol. anyway we figured we would give him the jump u know jeep 4x4 V8 u get the idea.lol. so we give him bout a car and the lil one throws his hands out the window like wat now at this time my buddy looks at me,smiles, and jus nails it we end leavin the guy so bad i know we blew off at least 3 stickers 
oh and btw as we were flyin by my buddy laughs at the lil kid
it was great i know its not an ls1 or lt1 but i thought i would share

I'm pretty sure that the 8cyl jeeps are 4.2L's ... not 5.2 L's. I know the 6cyl is a straight 6 - 4.0L
The older AMC Cherokee's had a 4.2L inline 6 engine

I'll race your little toy rice machine. How much you wanna run for? You do realize that there are quite a few LS1 cars on here that run 11's with just some boltons (no internal engine mods) and a little weight reduction right?

also, Jeep cherokee XJs never came with a 4.2, they have come with i4s, 2.8l chevy v6s, and then in 1987 they offered the 4.0 for the first time.
