Went to the Track Friday and raced two...
04 Cobra's..
One had Nitto's, the other had Mickey Thompson DR's. Both had after market exhaust, and thats about all I know for mods. I never went and talked to them.
First race was against the white cobra running Nitto's. I got a bad R/T, pulled a .140, Cobra red lighted, he got a -.018. By the 330 mark I was two cars ahead of him, by the eight I was probibly close to 6. Kinda hard to tell... My 1/4 time was a 11.98 at a 114mph. His was 13.1 at I think if I remember correctly 109mph
I hot lapped got back in line and what do you know, I go up against the other cobra, red one, with dr's.
I catch a little better light, but not by much, .110. He cought a really bad light. .330. After I realized I was ahead on him, I really didn't look back again to see how much I was gaining on him. I ended up running a 11.901 at 114mph, he ran a 13.3 at 110mph.<<<Once I am back home I will verify there times, but I think thats what they were.
There was a GT500 out playing, really nice, all black, running 10.9's on a set of DR's...
EDIT: And before this becomes one of those threads that starts the ford vs chevy crap.... They probibly needed to driver mod.... My car is nothing special.. just a lil ole cam.

Nice kills. It's funny how quickly you get accustomed to speed. I pulled up next to a stock Terminator the other day, orange vert, and he didn't seem interested in racing, so I punched it and took off. Further down the road, he caught up smiling and giving a thumbs up, then he punched it. It just wasn't at all impressive. I know they're great performing cars even in stock form, but lately I feel even my car is slow and I would have murdered this guy. Time for more power.

Good kills... the trapspeeds obviously indicate that you should have won, but they really shouldn't have been in the 13s, especially with drag radials and exhaust (and possibly more). But those cars are hard to launch, and it is getting rather hot out.
