Good kill! I really didn't like those new GT's when they first came out, but they have grown on me since then (that yellow one that BMR built was MINT). I almost bought one, but in the end I didn't want the big payment every month and ended getting my 94 Z28 instead.

Once again, good kill and keep us updated on the future mods!

If everyone is thinking it, there is no need to say it.
and a bolt on car is not a lot of work, especially as easy as the 3v engines are to work on.

Nice runs, You def have a nice car.

6 cars is a bit much, 3 or 4 cars is believable on a stock(ish) auto LS1 to 140mph.
Either way, nice kill and stay safe.

Nice looking car, your looking at mid/high 12's with some traction.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that since he bought a 2007 GT he wanted a new car... not something that's at minimum 6 years old.

how much work he had to do? he did basic bolt-ons worth about $1000. the same thing as exhaust, lid and a tune on a t/a!

I didn't know you could get a full exhaust for $500 bucks....I might need to get a 3v GT eventually

Well, it could also be that he did it at Cecil.... I live a LONG way from Cecil here in pittsburgh, and i know that a lot of people travel there to get times... i know of one mustang that can't break outta the 11's here, but goes to cecil to get his 10.7's...

not taking anything away from the OP's car at all!! just saying...

good kill OP!

The 5r55 in the autos are very close in times to the manual, especially when you start modding.

LS1 .................. .92hp per cubic inch..
4.6 mod ............ .93 hp per cubic inch

Your mods are just from the factory. Ford really needs to get a clue and bump up the cubes to a 5.4. Not a yours is bigger than mine arguement but, You can bring a deer down better with a 7mag rather than a .22 cal. That is as black and white as it can be put. Stock for stock it is theoretically impossible to beat an LS1 with a 4.6 na. How many of you have stock cars??? Once you start modding all of the gloves are off. Mod motors take better to boost, LSx motors take better to h/c setups. Just my opinion. My GT is getting a procharger by the end of the year. My SS already has H/C/Nitrous setup with all of the bolt ons that I can think of. My GT will be in the low 11's when I'm done.

actually i have closer to 1200$ in performance sarge. 450 for the headers with h-pipe, 200 for the pypes mid muffler cat back system and 550 for my cai and tune. so thats 1200 on the nose. ive picked up 10 mph from wut it ran stock. i think my best with 300 miles on the odometer was 13.6 @ 102 but ran consistent 13.8's at 101 rite off the show room floor
