Hey guys my friend at work has been trying to set up a race with another buddy with a 98 SS. His 98 SS has Pacesetter L/T's, ORY, SLP LM2 Catback, and an SLP Flowpac w/ K&N Filter. My 01 Z28 is bone stock down the lid/filter.

Anyhow i get a call telling me to meet them at work(afterhours) so i show up and wait for a couple minutes. The SS Pulls in and then my friend does w his buddies 03 Mystichrome Cobra. Well they park the cobra and hop in and we head out.

First race we go from a dig, no passenger in either car, friend flags us. 321Go he gets the jump off the line about half a car even spinning. Well i stay half car behind til he hits 2nd when i get a damn good jump passed him and pull out to a car. Long story short i let off at 115 with 1 1/2-2 cars on him.

Second and last race we go from a roll. 25MPH. I go 3 horns, we hit it at the same time and he jumps to 1 1/2 cars. By 105 when i let off i pulled within a car and thats the end of that.

Anyhow after we head back me and my friend who set up the race talked and we were both very impressed with how i matched up being bone stock to his mods. The driver of the SS said he could maybe pull within a car from a dig but he gave it to me on the dig hands down.

2 Very good races and alot of fun none the less. Well when we got back the SS Driver proceeded to ask me if i had any mods. Well i told him bone stock and i told him he could pop the hood and look if he felt the need. He said he believed me but wondered if i had a "baby cam".

Anyway sorry for the long post but i had a damn good time and figured i would post it up.

Also im A4 with 3.23's and he is M6 not sure what gears. You can see the difference between his good and bad driving, from race one to two.

Definitely driver mod, on the SS drivers part. Good kill!

He is actually a very good driver. But i understand no one can be perfect everytime. He tried saying something about 2nd gear going out etc etc but we all knew that was bs. Good guy and fun race none the less though. He has around 75k miles on the motor and 120k on the rest of the car.

thats just not right it dont seem hes at around im guessing 330rwhp and you 310 MAX and he has the gearing advantage from a roll or dig....he should absolutly rape you from 80+

Raise the BS Flag if ya want, i have witnesses in MY hometown and the kid himself. I dont care what peolpe say on the net i just figured i would post it up. My Friend, who is good friends with him and the other guy there, all seen it. Thats all that counts. Net racing is FTL.

Anyhow, like i said above. He had poor driving the first race and was alot better off the 2nd race. When he nailed 2nd the first i flew by him and proceeded to go further. He is a decent driver.

And as stated above, he isnt tuned. A4 over M6 is the reason for the victory in my eyes.
