Raced a 95 vette with an exhaust and filter.

Just about 30 mins ago!!

There was some smack talk down at the local midas about the ls1. My buddy's boss said his vette would whip an ls1. So my buddy calls me and I was three blocks away waxing my baby.

I walk in the door all cocky like and say who wants to race?
So off we go to the frontage rd with him out front. I decide to make him nervous with a challenge to a 35 roll (he's an auto). So I pulled a little in 1st and 2nd and walk a whole car in 3rd and 4th. Then I shut down.

So now we talk before we go from a dig. He says "I'll get you from the line cause I'm auto and I got more meat on the back" (stock vette rims)

To which I reply "did you see my tires" (I have black y2k vette rims with 275's out back so it's hard to see where rim ends and tire starts)

We walk to the cars and my shoes are sticking to the road, **** yes. There goes his auto advantage!!!

I launched at 1.5k and hooked!! I pulled a half off the line power shifted 2nd and pulled another half and third I pulled a whole car.

Sorry so damn long but I've been looking for one of these for a while, and I'm still friggin amped. Goddamned leg is still shaking.

Oh yeah, I gave him a thumbs up and he ignored me. Thats allright it was a pity thumb anyway. He got beat by a $12k car!!!

I don't know exactly how much a 95 'vette makes (around 285fhp or maybe less), but definitely less than your Z. I assume u have a 3:42? Combine that with your M6, I'm not surprised you trashed him.
Good kill, but you should seek higher grounds like C5.

Good kill! I want a piece of some vette some time soon... hopefully Z06 if I'm lucky! I haven't been getting very good races lately...oh well, at least I'm getting them.
