02 z28 vs new gt title should say 01 z28...accidently hit 02...this was a close race I was getting a snow cone and when i pulled uo to the stand there was a new gt there. He leaves as i leave and when he is pulling out he punches it and power slides left then back right, oversteers, maybe he did it on purpose. So i follow him down 77 until we get to 287. At the on ramp he punches it around 40 with me in 2nd and i punch it right after. he started about 5 cars ahead and i am slowly, very slowly catching up. At the end of third at about 100 i started to catch up fast, shifted to 4th and quickly to 5th cause i thought he let off the gas and i was within a car but it ended up he was still flooring it. He exited shortly after and threw a deuce. nice guy probably some work done to the gt but im not sure. One question i have is how much are my 18in y2k rear rims hurting my car?

13.7 @ 104 where these guys ran, and that was just the first search result that came up. Who's to say it can't click another tenth off that time at a better track or on a better day? Not bad for a 4,100+ pound car. Just wait for the G8 GXP to come out.
Nice race, OP. Sounds like you would have taken the victory easily if it was an even start.

So, I haven't been around much because we're moving to a new house and have been super busy. But, I did have time to go to the Father's Day drags down at Bremerton Raceway.
My best time:
13.50 @ 104.17MPH
Yes, my G8 is still COMPLETELY stock.
I'll get the timeslips out in the morning for the particulars, but here are the rest of my times:
1) 13.81
2)13.55
3)13.50
4)13.64 <-- got eliminated

listen ***, your right i didnt know the specs on the g8 and i dont mint admitting it i thought it was just like a g6. so kiss my ***! and as for my cheap mustang i have over $70,000 invested in it and could prob take your wife with it so go run your **** sucker somewhere else

no your not close! yes i own a mustang and love it but i have tons of respect for the ls motors and most of my friends own one. im actually in the process of lookin fo a zo6. and post here because i have alotta friends on and most ls owners are easy to get along with and knowledgable about cars. unless they own a g8

Road&Track hit a 13.5@ i forget mph with a stock G8 GT lol. 0-60 5sec flat they were thoroughly impressed. Owned.
i was beating 05+ GT stangs in my GXP gp with just a cai. rofl. but they dont rund 13's right? thats what everyone said and yet how many of us who had that car ran 13.6 stock. i think 3 of us alone on this forums. 13.6..... better than the average stang owner with a stock GT can run. try and proove me wrong i can go link the 38943798573498573498573948579345794837598345798347 videos of 13.6 1/4 2005+ stang gt videos now just sit down and lets not make this another pissing thread.
