Default Will I hang with a portd blower Cobra???

I have 06 M6 GTO with Mods in sig and have bought a ported fast 92 from vengeance and will have TFS 225's later this month and I am gonna spray a 75 or 100 shot. And the cam is a 232/234. I have been thinking about a 75 shot to make it the bottle last longer.

Without actually racing it's hard to say, but I think that you'll probably be making more power than one depending on how much the shot gives you.

Heads, cam and a 100 shot on your car will make for a good race with a ported Cobra.

It should be a very good race. I'd think with that LS2 H/C/I setup you should be mid-high 400s without issue through an M6 and with the 75-100 you should be well over the 500 mark. But pretty much every ported blower Cobra I've seen puts down low 500s and there will be no weight advantage either way, so it's probably going to come down to driving. Do some dig runs and then some roll runs so you can see who the better driver is and then who has the faster car. AND GET VIDS!!!

I'm guessing you haven't made a timed run on the bottle yet?

How much power are you putting down/hoping to put down?
Cars with setups similar to mine have gone 10's at 130mph. Does he have any other bolt-ons? Still on IRS?

12.5@118 on a 75 shot 2.3 60'

On a 125 it put down 446 at 4600 rpms, ran out of fuel and had to cut the run. Its on a wet shot now so I'm guessing over 500 will be easily attainable (especially since the a/f are spot on now).

With new tires and the juice working I think we shall see some mid 11's@122-5 ish

my uncle has 06 m6 GTO WITH a small cam and kooks longtubes thru a cusom x making 433hp to the wheels. Our buddy had a 03 cobra ported blower and i think a pulley makin about 500-510hp. From a low roll or a dig its a good race but once the blower kicks in it pulls away hard and top ends the hell out of the goat. so hopefully that might give u a hp comparison on what you can expect. ARE u racing fro a dig or roll?

From a roll? At the track?

With the TFS heads and ported FAST it'll be one hell of a race as you're both going to be around the 500rwhp mark....the nitrous will give you the edge.

Its really gonna depend on what all is done to the ported cobra. Most ported blown cobra owners will usually port the blower and thats it {meaning bolt-ons and upper pulley only} then you will be up againest a 118-122 trapping car on average. If the car has a lower pulley and longtubes then you will be up againest a 123-127 trapping car on average. With that said its all means nothing with a good tune.

118-122 with a ported blower? My buddies Cobra is trapping 123 with an upper pulley, K&N intake, catback & x-pipe in warm weather. Porting the blower should be good for another 2mph easy.

It will be close.

The guy might not be able to drive, there is always that factor. Only one way to find out.

Those terminators have crazy potential.

The cobra has stock IRS and borla catback& a Kn Intake right now but with a ported blower going on his car things could change.

This will be from a roll. A dig race in a GTO is like banging your friends girl, you might want to but you know if you do it will turn out bad!! I am deployed right now but I have the heads/fast at home and have 5 more months to wait . And my friend told me he will be ported or pullyd. If he is just pullytune it will be 15lbs and ported he said 17lbs so I just want to make sure I,ll still be a good run. Me and my friend john are both decent drivers. and he has stock IRS just like me. So I don,t like digs that much.
