Default To spray or not to spray?

Well I am racing a sprayed v6 mustang that came out of a local ford shop.....I think they may be sandbagging be by saying that it is only @ 300rwhp, but from what I hear he has beaten some cars that he just shouldn't be beating. Bolton/pullied cobras......

So I make more than what hes claiming on the motor, but I am concerned if I need the extra insurance. If I spray him he will know it for sure as I will be putting cornfields on him.......

So, what to do???

Result will be posted on sat/sun this week.

Keep your finger on the switch if you need it.

Since I used to own a blown/sprayed V6 and now own a bolt-on pulley Cobra, I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say unless he has his V6 built and running twins and nitrous he is not beating low 11 sec cars with a high-mid 13 sec car (v6 on spray).

If you know he beat a cammed LS2 GTO, why would you think you might be able to take him without spraying?

If you're not betting a lot just race him and see where you're at. But don't go all out, save that for the next race

I guess he could be built running a big progressive shot but it would be the first time I've heard of that being done.
As for my vote; my stock block V6 running a Vortech on 8 psi putting down 308rwhp off the spray through 4.10's and a posi ran a 13.02@106mph. First run on spray shattered the rear and went a remarkable 15.8@82mph with a 2.84 60'
Cobra ftmfw.

If you have to ask if you should spray or not then there isn't a question.

He very well could have a built 4.2 in there with a big shot. He would need at least a 200 to hang with much less beat a pullied Cobra.
edit-Spray his sorry ***.
