Here’s some of my inspiration behind the run, long story short bolt on LS3s are no joke..

Cobra by two cars from 30-130mph if both got traction and both can drive maybe the Vette will get him up top..

I can't see the Vette pulling on this one. I ran a bone stock LS3 Vette (non-vert A6) and put about two cars on him from 60-140, still slowly creeping away even at those speeds and there was no "bad driver" mod there because it was an auto. Give him the full exhaust and intake and he would have pulled me a bit, I'm sure, but not NEARLY as bad as a Whippled Cobra would. I'd put money on the Cobra for sure. Can't wait to see the vid!

^^ I agree with you man...i'm not saying LS3 are slow but Whippled snake's are definitely faster to 140mph so i'm saying Cobra by 1 car

With the stock cam I don't see that LS3 putting up much of a fight, especially on runflats. Cobra by at least a car.

Assuming this Vette is a M6, tuned and well driven I think its going to be a good race with the edge going to the Cobra.

Remember its a milder Whipple setup (not 600+rwhp) in a vert.

Yeah, I considered that, but I was just thinking about how I beat the LS3 I raced and then how badly I got destroyed by the 500+rwhp turbo Cobra I raced and figure the Whipple's going to be at least that fast since the Cobra wasn't much over 500 and the Whipple should be mid to high 500s. Even with exhaust, CAI, and a tune, there's no way that LS3 would have stood a chance agains that Cobra. That thing moved OUT.

Owning both, my Cobra is significantly faster than my LS2 C6. My Cobra (ported blower, 2.8 upper and bolt ons) is at 512rwhp and the C6 (Corsa catback only) is somewhere around 370-380rwhp. Many many people underestimate the top end power the Cobra has.

I think it will be closer than most are thinking. I think the vette has got the edge if its well driven. I think it will be really close though. I'm interested, can't wait to see it.
