So I'm cruising with my buddy after I completed my t56 swap. I see a black ls1 ws6 with a triple gauge pod on the a-pillar in the left lane behind me. It's a double left turn lane and we stay beside each other during the turn, then wait a sec after we get straight and both hammer it.

I'm in 2nd and as soon as we both get on it I start pulling, but had to let off due to the car infront of me. I get next to him at the next light and ask what he has done to his car, and he COMPLETELY IGNORES me. Not even a glance over. Guess he was mad his almighty ls1 got beaten by a lowly lt1

I didn't have it alot cuz of traffic. But within the short time we were both on it, I already pulled a car.

Yeah, as soon as I get a new rear end I'm going 306 or 503.

I know he had exhaust, and I did this to an intake/exhaust ls1 with the just intake/cutout, so its not my first ls1. It's not as almighty as you think. And before you say "you beat the driver", both cars were auto.

Congrats!!! I used to do the same thing to LT1's with the old L98 3rd Gen.

hmmm maybe I'm not seeing this right but it looked to me like you got out of the hole quicker but the ls1 was creeping its way up on you toward the end.

I had an LT1 with a "Hot Cam". I couldn't get out of the 14's. I loved and hated that car, at the same time, the whole time I owned it.

I never should have sold that car / Thank god that car's gone.
