Default My first lose.

Me and my friends were on our way home from the track friday night/saturday morning(I think it was about 3am) Headin up I-59. It was me driving my Formula, and my friends in a 2500 and a F250 trailering their cars. There was a Red WS6 and a Blue SS at the track and IIRC, the WS6 ran a
12.2 so im assuming it was cammed. Anyways, when we got on the freeway, i saw those two cars behind me, they passed me and the WS6 reved at me so i passed the two trucks, and lined up next to him. We slowed down to 40 or 50, i dont remember, I put it in 3rd, then the 3 beeps, and i got somewhat of a jump, which didnt matter because before i knew it he passed me and pulled at least 3-4 cars on me. I caught back up to him and gave a thumbs up. Then we went on our way. It was fun even tho it ruined my perfect record lol.

And fwiw the SS was on slicks and skinnies at the track, and i think he said it ran 11s. Im not sure if they are on here but i think they were from tennessee.

it was bound to happen, there's always somebody faster. losing to a car like that would be more fun than beating up on a 16 sec turd. it also gives you motivation to mod, good luck next time.

if u had been in second it probably would have been a much closer race. good death though.

on a side note, how do you like the lpp stainless headers?

yea racing a fast car is more fun even if you do lose.

I havent installed the headers yet, but they seem to be awesome quality, with good welds and the flange is thick. The polished stainless is gonna be pretty under the hood lol.

"Medium Blue Metallic, Six Speed, American Racing TTM's, 315's, SLP lid, TSP Rumbler, MSD wires, LPP Stainless LTs & ORY(waitin for install)"

So you have 315s on heavy wide wheels, and a lid + catback?

You are probably close to stock speed since you don't have the headers and ory on.

That and since you were in the wrong gear, he must have either been in the wrong gear or been in an auto with 2.73s.

What gears do you have?

Looks like he should have pulled you a LOT more.

good death though, at least it wasn't a ricer box

You can't win 'em all. The LT's and a fresh tune will net you some good whp and the car will be much more satisfying to drive. Gotta love the roar of LT's!

Congrats on the "lose". I'd prefer that than a loss.

Seriously though..if you were only at 30 or 40, I think the race would have been closer (not saying you'd have 'one' HAHA, but at least closer) had you been in 2nd.

Im not upset about losing tho. Just sharing a story.

And yea im installing the headers within the next few weeks and getting a good tune. Im just not sure where to get the tune. Im thinkin Vengance or MTI in Atlanta.

And thanks for the grammar lesson PonyGT lol.
