Default 00' T/A vs C6

My T/A (13.4 @ 109 stock) vs. an auto LS2 C6 with exhaust. The C6 owner, in his late 50's, was a friend of a friend. I told him I was gonna run him on the expressway and he laughed as if it wouldn't be worth his gas, but I obviously knew he would pull. He was quite the bullshitter and seems pretty convinced the C6 is the only car worth buying, which it an amazing car. But, we lined up at ~55 mph on the expressway, I'm in my my sweet spot in 2nd gear and give the 3 honks. I immediately jumped out 1/2 car and we ran until i was well into 4th at around 110 mph. By that time he was ~1/2 car infront of me, and I had to let off since we were approaching another car. I was pretty amazed he only pulled 1/2 car on me, and so was he. He seemed a little dissappointed, which is always satisfying for me anyway. I'm just glad there were cars up ahead or he would have raped me past 110mph

He has an exhaust and claims to have a tune, but after the way it pulled (or didn't pull) I doubt he has much, if anything, in it.

Nice race. Sounds like you held well with a mean car. C6 with mods is no joke.

Nice run with the C6

I'm not sure how it happened but crazy things happen sometimes. You said you ran a 13.4? The C6 should do that even if the driver missed a shift. (or two)

the 13.4 ET doesn't match up with my 109 mph trap, remember the C6 was a roll race. It was 55 degrees and I barely squeezed in a couple runs with 40psi in 6 year old 245 tires. From what I've seen auto LS2 vettes aren't trapping more than a couple mph higher. Correct me if i'm wrong
