Default Bolt ON WS6 vs Cammed 06 GTO- No video

I was in crawfordsville, IN when i ran across a 06 dark blue gto. I lined up next to him and we went for just a small romp. We were pretty even, him pulling slightly, and then i let go because i was afraid there might be a cop up ahead. Shortly after we did around a 30 roll up to about 70ish. I immedietly jumped a few cars on him, I did get the hit, and I went through 3rd and 4th as he stayed in the same spot in my rear view mirror, maybe creeping towards me slightly, really couldn't tell. So i was surprised that my M6 long tube, ory, lid, cutout, EFi Live tune car actually ran with a modded 06 GTO. So he pulls up next to me at the next light and i suddendly realize his car is loping. I asked if he had a cam in it to which he replied "yes". I asked him what else he had done and he told me it was a bolt on cam only car (auto) and that he had just bought it yesterday from a guy in Minnesota. The guy he bought it from sayed it ran 11's! There is no way in hell i should have beat him and i told him that. He said he was only giving it 3/4 throttle, but i wish he would have laid into it so I could have seen that thing fly past me. Anyways, to my amazement, i ran with a cam only bolt on 06 goat. A total fluke that I ran with him, I should have been destroyed!

It was auto? It could be on a stock stall, and maybe he really didn't push is. Or he was spinning his *** off from 30 to 60 mph lol. None the less, good kill.

I know his car is much much quicker than mine, it was just wierd that i actually beat him. Only thing i can think of is that his car wasn't running right or he just didn't want to embarass me.

Off topic...little MT...that pic of your skittle looks familar. Is that one of the rare 600hp+ ones running around?

OP:good lol. Yea, stuff happens..like all the 600cc bikes being taken out by near stock cars. Stuff that shouldn't happen, does.

Could have a bad tune, stock stall, no traction or !driver mod. No one knows. Anything can happen on the street! Good kill OP! Just be cautious if you end up running into this guy again. His problems could be fixed.

What a small world. My friend here in MN just sold his GTO to a guy in Indiana yesterday, so this is the same car. It's a blue 06 gto and has a torquer v2 cam with full bolt ons and a 3200 stall.

Thats my GTO. The guy who bought it is very conservative and even when I gave him to go ahead to stomp it he barley touched the pedal. Had he romped it you would of ate his dust. Period.

Glad to see hes not beating it. If I just bought a car I wouldn't race it till I was comfortable either.

Hey Dave, yeah I would bet he didn't really get on it. Your car can move and if he was wide open he shouldn't have a problem.
