600+ Hp Kenne Bell Cobra and others
Had a few more runs tonight......2 on motor one on spray.
1st motor run was vs a mustang gt "on a hundred shot" we did a 30 and he pulled me pretty good I let out around 90 when another car appeared to be merging into our race.....he was out about 1.5 cars and pulling. Says he puts down 348 whp, but he is full of **** as he beats pullied bolton cobras and is full weight.
2nd motor run was a pullied bolt on cobra. 30-120 he has me by 1 car.
The N20 run: vs 600+ hp kb cobra @ 20 psi
We line up and do a 40 in 2nd. I honk it off
I jump out about a car and he is starting to pull back when he shifts to third, I have a longer 2nd so I get out about a car on him before my 2-3 shift. I can still hear his SC whine as third goes by quickly and I am maybe out 1.5 as I shift to 4th. He lets out around 120 and is 1.5 to 2 cars back.
We make another 40 roll and he stays a little closer (probably only a car this time) thru third, but misses 4th and shuts down.
I was pretty surprised as I thought I was going to get freight trained. Good runs and all three people were very cool.

^What a dumbass thing to say, the only reason they beat me is because I was nice enough to give them a motor run....if I spray them it is good night irene.
Yeah 15 psi s/c 4 cam beats a stock (motor) ls1 by a car I wanted to see what I could do against them on the motor. Look at my sig, my car is %100 stock motor with boltons and drag wheels, I mean come on that is doing pretty well to only lose by a car to a cobra with 100 more whp.
You seem to not notice what happened to the KB when I used my power adder

Second off your boltons and drag wheels car on nitrous would stand no chance against a 600+ KB 03 Cobra. Keep dreaming though.

I agree I didnt think I stood a chance but it went down just the way I said it did.

well @ 15 psi his 4.6 is volumetrically equivalent to a 8.2, so your ricer math fails.

I make 500whp and close to 600 wtq on the spray, and my car weigh 3100 lbs. .....if you cannot comprehend that there is more to a car than a peak hp # then that is your own fault. I dont know much about the driver but I would think that that might also play a factor in a race with two manual tranny cars

What do you think about a 338 whp GT "on a 100 shot"(I think it is an 01-02) beating pullied bolton cobras? I think he might have 450+ tq or something.....he said he traps 112 which is laughable I guess it is possible to consider he is just a better driver than me, but I'd rather not.

Yeah i ran him to and he beat me by like 1.5 to 2 cars from a 25 or 30 roll. That car moves out pretty good for what it is. He told me that he had gears intake and exhaust with a 100 shot. what did he tell you? What spot where you guys at?

On the street anything can happen and last night it did. This isnt the first time someone has beat a car with more power on the street. Race weight, driving and usable power has alot to do with it but not everyone fully understands or believes that. As for my current car it is what it is and its not very much, car makes 338rwhp/365rwtq and has gone a very best of 12.29 at 112. I have ran close with some pullied cobras before in the gt but these cobras are running low to mid 12's at the track, not all pullied cobras run those times. When i had my pullied cobra my best was 11.34 at 122mph. I dont base my cars off other cars or bench race, i go to the dyno to tune it in then i go to the track, those are the real numbers not lucky guesses or estimates like some do.

same thing, but he also told me he only beat the bologna pony by a car.........I beat bologna by like 4 so.........its w/e though I dont mind losing. He probably upped it to a 150, although my car may have gotten slower from the bigger tires.....It seems to be faster though vs the other car I ran before an after.
