ran a c5 and a z28 last night... Thought I would share my fun from last night, seeing that it has been a while since I've raced anybody. First up is the z28 (ls1) he drives by revving at me, although I can't really hear it over my car, so we head out to an open stretch of road and are cruising at 45 when he honks it off and by 90 I had about 6 cars on him. Not sure of his mods but couldn't have been much more than intake and catback.
Now the c5. He was one of those guys that drives by you and looks at you like your car isn't **** compared to his...you know...anyways I'm cruising beside him at about 50 and keeps revving it a little like it's something special (sounded good though and I guess he didn't know I have the same motor...sort of, his was pretty stock I'm guessing, intake and full exhaust) anyways he gets the jump and I put a few cars on him when he decided to shut off I hadn't quite hit 100 yet but he was done and when I got back beside him he wouldn't look at me....oh well maybe next time I'll get to talk to him about his car some...
Oh my mods, TSP torquer v3, Pacesetter LT, True duals w/bullets dumped before the axle, ls6 intake, slp lid and cold air kit, maf, ported tb, 3500 stall, 3.73's, heavy chrome zr1's w/315's in the back, and a little weight reduction.

Poor C5.......you would be a good run for me

Yeah, there's not very many people where I live that mod their cars very much, I have to drive about an hour to where my buddy lives to get some good races and get beat by him...lol
