Default 01 z28 vs srt-8 jeep

i was goin down the road on my way home about 45 mins ago and i see a jeep commin up fast. i thought hmm wonder whats up, he lines up with me and down shifts so i put it in 2nd gear and wait.

he starts slowin way down to like 25 and he gave me like 2 lengths i was like wtf so i thought i should go to 1st and he takes off no warning. by the time i could process what was goin on he was right next to me so i mashed it by the time i pulled 2nd he was 3 lenghts ahead get into 3rd he's still pullin then we had to let off.

came to a stop gave him a thumbs up and thought to myself omg i got my *** kick by a jeep. i dont think i could have cought him,i know im like stock as a rock but i had no idea those were that fast. time to upgrade.

in my experience, don't race when they do that wait until they line up even. when 2 cars are pretty evenly matched and one gets the hit and the other sleeps, you feel disappointed real quick. but yes the GCSRT-8 are pretty quick.

Whats up with all the SRT8 races? The SRT8 cars are a hair quicker from a roll and stronger above 100 mph but yes, the GCSRT8 is an awesome roller but you would have been much better off with a proper start.

Catch him from a dig.

I raced one from a 40 roll in my old modded 97 cobra and put a car on him by 90.

the cobra ran 13.4 @ 107

Check my thread... I wouldn't want to go from a dig with one.

yea around 420hp and 420lb torque... but if you were in first gear would of been a different story.

heres a vid of my friends evo with exhaust only vs a srt-8 jeep with exhaust only.

The Grand Cherokee is completely opposite of the other SRT8 cars...traps are typically 103~104mph and they rip off the line with little effort. I would have no issue with a Jeep from a roll but the other SRT8 vehicles would give me trouble. Going against one from a dig would be suicide...your best bet is from a roll on.

Man I don't know alot about the srt8 jeep. I know they make one supercharged. That thing could be nasty. Something like 600hp or so. AWD. Hellified launch.

You took the words right out of my mouth, the SRT8 cars generally trap 106-110 but the Jeep is a SOB to run from a dig
