OP - You 'should' win yes. It comes down to how good you are and how good he is. If you can't drive, he 'may' win. Generally speaking though 4th Fbods are quicker.

You shouldn't have a problem. One of the guys in my neighborhood has a '08 GT with exhaust (possibly more, that's all I know for sure) and I walk him every time (and that's in a heavier A4 convertible).

yeah i raced one when my car was stock and he had a catback, i was a4 and he was m5, and i totally distroyed him, by a few lengths, then he used famous mustanger line"i missed 3rd", so then he didnt wanna race, well i got him to race again..... well what do you know i beat him again by the same amount, after that he wouldnt even look at me!!!!

I have raced two and we were even, I spinned and could not get any traction, then we both let go. Can't tell who won. But I did race a GT500 that pulled one car on me.... No excuses but the GT500 pulled a car on me up to about 4th-5th... then he stopped pulling, I started catching up... guy in the mustang let go and did not want to go at it again.... who knows... I might've catch him and pull a little up top!!!

I'd agree with a slightly lower average trap...I've seen more LS1 F-bodies trap 102-105 than 106-108, but the track conditions were pretty bad on the days I went. I've also seen some beat *** F-bodies, so it really depends on their condition and the skills of the driver behind the wheel. We all ain't John Force or Evan Smith...
