We are friends so it was just some friendly runs, my buddy had just gotten the car back from the shop, with getting the blower installed and all. We line up from a 40 roll and he hangs with me for about 2 seconds then in start walking away pretty good. 50 roll im right around 3500-4000 rpm right where i make peak Tq and i pull on him and just keep pulling hard. If i give him the break he jumps about half a car on me and once things start moving i pass him and keep walking. All in all its a pretty fast car, it hasnt been to the track but it moves pretty good. damn thing redlines at like 7800 rpm, it sounds sick.

Sounds like fun. That thing must rip. I'm guessing it's an E46 M3. Any idea which turbo kit he's running?

im not sure what year it is. I know its an E46 and i forgot the company that makes the Blower kit, its not a turbo. He got it on sale but he told me the kit retails for around 12k

Dinan maybe? I know their stuff is MAD expensive, but I havn't seen prices in a while. I remember back when I was looking at a 97 m3, I saw prices on performance parts, and HOLY ****. It is ridiculous.

$12k for a supercharger kit. Dayum. That's BMW. My friend has an '03 M3 and spent close to $6K in intake and exhaust mods for a yield of about 12whp. Then again how many 3.0L inline sixes are making 335hp off the showroom floor. At least you know BMW did the modding for you when you buy an M3.

Your torque was a big advantage in that race. M3's tend to be high on HP due to the high-revving motor but not so high on the torque. Good kill.

all mods and power are in my sig. we took the rolls to well over 120 and i still kept pulling. He has gone 178mph in the car though. im not too sure if my car will go that fast with the gears in it.
