350z vs stock 01 ws6
aight, so there is this clean looking 350z running around my area lately and we had a run in at a light, he kept eyeballing me and I thought about going for it but decided not to, (don't ask me why but didnt)
I'm pretty sure hes stock, actually almost positive but what is the stock hp on those 350z? and ya what you think the turn out would be?

Um... maybe at 5,000' elevation. With a decent driver all 350Z 6spds are capable of 13s, with the '07+ models getting low 13s with good drivers. If it's an '07+ Z and the driver knows what he's doing, you'd be surprised at how close of a race it is. Any other years you *should* win, but be on your A game.

The HR 350Z's are 07+ and are capable of 106+ trap speeds

Only a couple have run 107mph trap speeds - about as many C6Zs trapping 128mph+. Ultra rare, expertly driven, perfect launch, perfect conditions and oddly the bolt-ons running the same.....
The '07+s have a smooth hood bulge. All the rest are creased. Which is it?
It will be close, but a stock LS1 should always win given equal drivers.

Stock for stock MAYBE driver's race, but even then I'd say the LS1 f-body has the advantage. I've raced a few back when I only had short shifter, lid, cat-back, and it seemed like they never really had a chance. Easy kill for the most part.

I can't stand the 350Z owners around here. They give S197 owners a humbling rep. 350Z owners are a PITA here. They are the most arrogant car 'group' generally speaking, that I've come across. They're almost as bad as vette owners ( )

370 Z?? gotta look that one up... I've never had a cocky enough 350Z owner want to race me on the street.
I'll have to research this 370 series..
Just researched the 370... 330 "flywheel hp???" and torque? ahhh yeah..
It's got LED headlights though. Maybe I need to trade up.lol
