I ran the 2000 TA vs a 97 c5 of my buddies. He has a ls6 intake and kooks 1.75" headers with a 150shot.
I also ran a buddy with a 85' Cutlass with a well built chevy small block.

That 150 shot didn't look like it was giving the full 150 for the vette, lol.

Also, that Cutlass moves out!

Yea, I expected the vette to keep pulling like he started too. We both did. Only thing we thought of, is i have about 1000 more rpm band (6700-6800) vs his (5700-5800) and I have a shift kit.

Cutlass does move....

were you on spray vs the cutlass?

It looks like the vette lost just as bad on the spray, except he had a better jump with it. Something doesn't seem right?

The second race vs the vette we went another 10mph longer than the 1st time with racing, he didnt jump. He said it worked, just passed him on the top end.

MTR vs MTR on cutlass i edited that to say that on top.

yea something doesnt seem right but i dont know what it would be, if it works in second why wouldnt it be working in third. Only things i can think of is that my rpms drop when i shift to 3rd and the transams are getting to peak hp levels so he pulls. I'm the driver of the vette by the way. Oh well i dont mind losing to an american car. next year will be better

Is the Vette an auto?

Obviously anything can and does happen but by the numbers the Vette should have taken it. ( 388 rwhp TA vs estimated 430 rwhp Vette).

Vette is auto. His 150shot is prly putting 110-120rwhp down.

yeah i would say im just over the 400 rwhp mark if i had to guess.
