Default BMR Pinoion Angle?

So After about 100 miles after installing my new adj BMR T/A according to the BMR instructions and vid, my rear u-joint exploded without any signs of wear or noise. When it let go it smashed up my exhaust and T/A both beyond repair. I'm wondering if the wrong pinion angle according to this, https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/974198-measuring-pinion-angle.html, would cause the u-joint to fail, or if its just part failure. I'm just curious why it would explode after just installing the T/A and installing it according to their specs? I planned on using all BMR products on my car this winter, but if thier products cause other part failure, I'm not sure I want to use them again. Any input is appreciated.

Did you have it setup at -2*? If it was right at 0 it could definitely cause premature failure of the U joint. Sorry about all your hassle, hope everything works out.

Give me a call here at the office. A -3 degree pinion angle will not cause a u-joint failure unless the u-joint was already on it's way out

BMR is some of the best product available. I have all of it.
