How to bleed ABS module???
Here is the story, I removed all the calipers to do a paint job. I have reinstalled all brakes and have bled all 4 corners in correct order until I have no bubbles and all new clear fluid coming out (gone through 2 of the big bottles). The brake pedal still takes a few times to pump up then slowly drops to the floor. During road test, its takes about 3 pumps to the floor before brakes kick in. I finally read the Chiltons guide and it said bleed the ABS module. If i am not mistaken, the ABS module is that block in the front left of the engine bay? There are no bleeder valves on that thing. I have seen some posts about slamming the brakes to get the ABS to work then rebleed, but I cant even get enough pressure to lock them up. WTF do I do now?
Also, if I need that Tech scan thing, where can I get one? There is no way I am driving to dealer like this.

Try bleeding the brakes with the ignition in the "on" position. That way, the abs system will be energized. I can't guarantee that it will solve your problem, as I've never bled an abs equipped car from scratch, but when I flush my 'Vette, or my wife's Lincoln LS, I have to have the ign. on, or I won't get any fluid flow to the rear calipers.

I currently have all my calipers off for a refinish too. I painted them a few years ago, reinstalled them and bled them out and encountered no issues. I did nothing to the ABS module. All seemed well.
I hope it goes just as well this time around. I have heard folks say to bleed the ABS but I dont have a clue on how to do it.

When I installed my line-lock I (obviously) introduced a bunch of air between the master cylinder and the ABS module. Ergo, I got air in the module.
I had to bleed the front brakes three times (about 3oz per corner * 3) before getting the pedal to return to normal.
Just my experience.

The computer has a command that bleeds the abs module. Now you just have to find a friend with a tech 2, modus, genisys, etc to activate the command. or you can just be patient and see if the air will work down the lines.

If you get a wiring diagram of the ABS module harness plug, you could jumper the solenoids and force them open with a simple 12v signal so that you can bleed.
Easier and safer way is to use a tech 2, matco, snapon, etc tool, or hp tuners to force the solenoids open via the computer
