Default Were Tubular SFCs the right choice?

I just installed my SFCs a few days ago. But im starting to wonder if i should have gone boxed instead of tubular. I got tubular for the ground clearance, but Im not sure if its a big deal. I installed an adjustable PHB at the same time and the car definately feels more solid. Just wondering.

I was sitting on the fence several weeks ago with the UMI sale going on deciding which way to go: tubular, boxed, 3 point, bolt-in, welded. I ended up going with the boxed weld-in and and really don't hang too low at all. Now I am beginning to wish that I had gone with the 3 point weld-ins for when I upgrade the torque arm down the road.

It all depends what you want to accomplish with the car. For a daily driver that occasionally sees the drag strip, I think that you should be fine. You said that it definitely feels more solid.

You should be fine. The main difference between tubular and boxed is that the boxed version resist torsional twisting more than the tubular. If you put the car under severe road coarse abuse the boxed would have been a better choice but for your application you ok.

I made my decision the same as you. I got mine for clearance as well since I knew I was going with Strano springs. I think you made the right choice, as did I.

Ugh... I'm on the fence between 2- and 3-point... how did you all decide?

You decide by what you want to do with the car. Call one of the sponsors and ask them.
