Default how to break in new brakes

I just replaced my brakes (pads & rotors), and I'm wondering what you all do to break them in and bed the pads.

Thanks

It depends on the type of pad. What did you use?

I used autozone rotors and wagner thermo quiet pads.

For a stock type pad, I'd make (in lieu of better/proper directions) 2-4 easy stops from 30 mph (30-5mph, don't come to a complete stop. Let the brakes cool and make a few more easy stops. You want to use moderate brake pressure to get the pads and rotors to wear to fit each other. Or something similar. Don't abuse the brakes to seat them, just use them moderatly until they begin to work effectively. You don't want to bed stock pads like a race pad (meaning you don't want to get them super hot), you just want them to wear to match the rotor surface.

Just my thoughts.
