Default Did some work today. Pics inside.

Well I changed my right front lower and upper A-arms today with Umi products. I had the biggest pain in the *** lower a-arm, rear bolt. It was siezed inside the bushing so it had to be cut out and replaced with a new one. Anyways does anyone know the proper torque specs for the upper and lower a-arm bolts?

Nice setup! I was thinking of doing the same, but the cost will be alot. How hard was it to take the LCA's off, provided you didn't get that rear bolt stuck? LOL@ 1989 LS1 Geo Metro (Doesn't it say Lsi on the back? I always laugh at that)

Im not gonna sit here and say it was an easy job changing the front lower A-arm, or an inexpensive one. I have never got into doing vehicle modifications myself until 2 months ago so I did a lot of research before stepping in to do it. If my bolt wasnt siezed I could of had the a-arm off in no time. But it was stuck for 3 weeks before I decided this bastard isnt moving so BAM, sawzall time.

Very nice. Let us know if those lower a arms transmit any extra road noise since those have the rod ends on them.

Yes I painted the spindle. Took alot of work to get all the rust off before painting it. But I think it came out pretty good.
